National team leaves for Czech Republic

Bahrain’s national team left for the Czech capital, Prague, yesterday for their 21-day summer training camp, held in preparation for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

The delegation, headed by BFA board member and Legal Affairs Committee Chairman Sultan Al Suwaidi, includes team coach Mirsolav Soukup, assistant coach Khalid Taj, team manager Aref Abdulrazaq, administrators Abdulla Al Mutawa and Nabeel Ebrahim, fitness coach Andy, goalkeepers coach Jerry, physiotherapist Shawqi Alshino, masseurs Rajan and Anmish, and kit officer Gireesh.

Soukup’s 24-man squad for the camp includes Sayed Shubar Alawi, Ahmed Abdulla, Ebrahim Ahmed Habib, Ali Madan, Mohamed Sahwan, Abubaker Adam, Kumail Al Aswad, Ali Haram, Sayed Redha Isa, Mahdi Abduljabbar, Ahmed Juma, Jamal Rashid, Isa Moosa, Abdulla Abdu, Sayed Mahdi Baqer, Sayed Dheya Saeed, Ashraf Waheed, Ahmed Moosa, Ali Isa, Hussain Jameel, Jassim Al Shaikh, Ahmed Bughamar, and Abdulla Yousif.

The camp, which will continue until July 16, is expected to include five friendly games against Czech teams.
